I love writing mysteries. Researching and writing about the paranormal is part of my process, but the JJ Gilbert Mystery series is about more than that. JJ is a character who wants to do good, but sometimes fails (as we all do). She is a person who is imperfect (like me) but is on a journey to be better by learning from her mistakes. Someone who sometimes lets their thoughts and emotions send them in the wrong direction. Has that ever happened to you? Me too!

I’m currently working on a new JJ Mystery called The Stalking Spirit. It takes JJ to Crater Lake Oregon. You guessed it. She runs into a spirit that stalks her. It will be available this summer.

In the meantime, I just published The Caretakers: Journey to Planet Zenray. The book contains five short stories (I call them missions) about a young girl named Astra Newtown. In each story, you will find a cast of unique characters traveling the galaxy helping other civilizations. The book is targeted at young adults, but I think anyone can enjoy them. The missions might even be thought provoking when you look around the world in which we live.
